Pepita's Stocking
This stocking is worked from the top down, with an easy lace cuff, stranded colorwork leg and foot, and an “afterthought” heel.
The design uses worsted weight yarn in four colors:
MC (beige) – approx. 180 yds
CC1 (dark green) – approx 120 yds
CC2 (red) – approx. 120 yds
CC3 (green) – approx. 50 yds
The sample used: Araucania Nature Wool (100% Wool; 242 yds / 221 m per 3 ½ oz / 100 g skein) in #02 (discontinued color) (MC)
Ella Rae Classic (100% Wool; 219 yds / 200 m per 3 ½ oz / 100 g skein) in #110 (CC1), #21 (CC2) and #108 (discontinued color) (CC3)
