Summer is the season of growth: vegetables, flowers, and your own lovely peony garden to knit and wear! Create your lovely garden in a bright and happy color like this one, or a more subdued yarn of your choice. Either way, it will be masterwork you can be proud of. The V shape will wrap around your shoulders beautifully, giving you the best of a triangular shawl and a stole all in one! Begun in the round, this shawl is worked from a circlular bloom into a square, where two sides are bound off, and two other sides are worked flat (back and forth) into wings.

Lace lovers 2023
This is a special club for serious lovers of lace knitting, and the patterns will all be in the general style of past lace clubs of mine. Each pattern will include a medium (for regular yarn option) and tall (for double yarn option) size. The medium size will use from 700-950 yards. The tall size will vary, but in general will use at least 1200 yards.

The club will include four total new Romi lace patterns, and this listing is for the pattern only option. Yarn used for the patterns will be lace weight to light fingering weight. At the end of the club shipment term, the fourth pattern, a mashup of different lace patterns from the previous three club designs, will come out.

2023 schedule (subject to small changes):

1. Pattern out early April
2. Pattern out late July
3. Pattern out mid November
4. Pattern out late January 2024

Single club patterns will not be available to the public until February of 2024, but the pattern only eBook option will remain available throughout the club term. eBook patterns will be downloadable both from your Ravelry library and through your Designs by Romi account (to create an account, go to designsbyromi.com and link your Ravelry account).

The patterns you receive will be brand new designs. For those of you who would like to join me, there will always be knit-alongs for the patterns in my Ravelry group. All patterns will be designed and written by me. Club purchases are non-refundable.
