Pegasus- Greek mythology a winged divine stallion.
The Pegasus scarf is a pretty scarf featuring fans and chained lacework. It is a quick pattern to work up.

Designed in Australia by Mel Harrison.

Fit: The Pegasus scarf is a close fitting infinity neck warmer style scarf. It is designed to be looped around the neck, snugly, twice or it can be looped once and worn loose. You may like to measure the length of the chain around your neck and decide if it is the right length for you. If you would like a longer scarf the pattern can be made larger by adding extra sets of 13 stitches to the original chains and repeating the pattern sets an equal amount of extra times. Please note more yarn will be needed. Likewise if you wish to make the scarf more fitted you can do so by removing sets of 13 chains until you are happy with the length. You can also repeat the pattern sets rounds 2-5 extra times for a wider scarf

Materials required: Approximately 60gms of 4ply yarn depending on the desired length and width. Example used Mahogany Turtle hand dyed 4ply Merino in Zephyr.

Hook: Size 3.5mm

Supplies: yarn needle, stitch marker.

Intermediate level pattern, American terminology. You will need knowledge of basic crochet stitches:

Double crochet
Ss: Slip stitch
Skp: Skip
