Pégase
When I was in high school and later at university, I used to practice horseback-riding. Back then, especially for jumping lessons, I often rode a horse named Pégase, Pegasus in French. He had a very dark bay coat, almost black, and had a rather small frame but was very energetic. Thinking of it now, naming a horse Pegasus, after the mythical winged divine stallion is rather laden with expectations. I liked Pégase very much.
With the Pégase cowl, I’m re-exploring these old memories as well as the Pegasus myth. The cowl uses two lace patterns that complement each other like wings and feathers. Easy patterning is used on all rows and you’ll encounter some less common decreases. If you’re after a little bit of adventure, grab your needles and join the fun!
