Peggy was knitted as a trade for some photography work. My friend Jamie generously
photographed some of my art, and I wanted to create something that would make her
laugh. I’m not sure if it was my own childhood fascination with pirates, or the hours of
watching Spongebob Squarepants with my children that led me to create him, but who
doesn’t love a three-eyed pink swashbuckler? I can assure you he is as ferocious as he
looks.
