This Gansey features horizontal bands of garter stitch and peerie (small) diamonds. It’s inspired by traditional Ganseys worn by fishing communities across the UK and beyond. It’s knitted in our 5 ply worsted spun yarn, made from 100% Shetland wool and ideal for all kinds of classic knitwear.

DESIGN NOTES
The jumper is knit in the round until the underarm with underarm gussets; you then work back and forth, knitting the back and front separately. The shoulders are cast off together and stitches are picked up for the sleeve and worked downwards in the round. The neck is picked up and knit in the round
