Peekaboo Shawlette
The Peekaboo Shawl is knit flat in 2 color brioche, embellished with assigned pooling/algorithmic knitting motifs that peek between the brioche ribs. When the pooling color shows up, you begin a Peekaboo motif, which is worked over the next several rows.
The shawl is reversible; the motif looks different on the other side of the fabric. You get two looks with one project. Most of the shawlette is just 2 color brioche rib, knit flat.
Choose 2 skeins of fingering weight yarn, one of which should be dyed for assigned pooling. This shawl’s size can be easily adjusted.
The Peekaboo motif instructions are given in chart, written, and video tutorial formats. I’ve got you covered.
I’ve been dreaming of combining two of my favorite knitting techniques, brioche and assigned pooling. I love the results!
