These birds feature an adorable stranded Peruvian hat with pompoms. Because the hat fits the face closely, the eyes on this bird are closer together than the eyes on the other birds. Beads are recommended for the eyes.

The beak is crocheted on with instructions given in the book.

You need about 4g of yarn for each bird. You will need small amounts of different DK yarns for the hat.

A note on gauge: the fabric should be dense enough so the stuffing doesn’t show through.
