Bursting with sweetness and perfect for your young fashionistas! The Peachy Keen Dress is an adorable knit dress with simple shaping and subtle seed stitch detailing. You’ll have a hard time choosing just one worsted weight yarn to knit this dress in – some test knitters ended up knitting multiples!
Since this dress is sized for children aged 6 months to 9 years, you’ll keep ALL the kids looking oh-so-cute.

Construction Details:
The dress is worked in the round from the bottom towards the top. At the armholes, the dress is split into two halves and the front and back are then worked separately back and forth. After seaming the shoulders, the armhole and neck edgings can be worked in crochet or knit. Video tutorials are provided for either option.

Recommended ease is 0-1”/0-3 cm. Our model, Arya, is wearing the size 4-5 (shortened by 1”/2.5 cm at the skirt) and generally wears a size 4 in children’s clothing.

Gauge: 18 sts and 27 rows = 4”/10 cm in St-st, using size needle to obtain gauge.

Needles: US 7 (4.5 mm) circular knitting needles 16”/40 cm, 24”/60 cm and 32”/80 cm length or size needed for gauge. Sizes 6 month-3 year need the 16”/40 cm and 24”/60 cm length needles and sizes 4 year-9 year will use the 24”/60 cm and 32”/80 cm length needles. Adjust needle size as necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Crochet Hook (optional, for neckline and armhole edges): Size US 7/4.5 mm hook or size hook that matches knitting needle size. 

Yarn: 300 (350, 400, 550)(650, 800, 950) yards of worsted weight (CYCA #4) yarn.
