A stone’s throw from Brighton Beach is the Royal Pavilion Palace, once built and owned by members of the British royal family, and now beautifully maintained and owned by the city of Brighton. This palace is built using architecture techniques and styles heavily lifted from Indo-Islamic buildings at the time, with curved, domed turrets and gleaming stone walkways through immaculate, tropical gardens, reminiscent of Kew Garden’s Palm House. Inspired by both locations, I created this breezy cardigan, perfect for walking beachside with the wind whipping your hair. A carved arch neckline meets elegantly at the center front, where an applied I-cord button band wraps, serpentine, around each seashell button.
