The Patmore poncho will make delight you in a dreamy swish of softness. It’s easy to wear, hard to resist and can be worn a few different ways.
Worked top down, first purled then knitted, increased toward the bottom and finally a beautiful eyelet border add a lovely flair. The yarn used as shown here is held double throughout this project, it adds a halo, you can actually see the softness.
The pattern is fully written and has photos to help with the finishing.
The unblocked measurements are 54” in bottom circumference, the neckline between button placement is 22”, the height is 21.5”.
Yarn
Flamme, a sport weight yarn.
140 yards/50 grams a skein, in a two color thick and thin blend of super soft 90% Acrylic/10% Polyamide. 4 skeins needed, knit with two strands held together throughout.
Alternatively use 280 yards in a heavy worsted weight.

Notions needed
US size 13 (9 mm) circular needle 29” (74 cm) in length.
1 Stitch marker to mark beginning of rounds.
Darning needle for finishing.
4 buttons about 1” in diameter each.
Gauge
10 sts and 13 rows in 4” of Stockinette stitch with two strands held together.
Techniques applied
Knitting and purling in the round, increasing, eyelets, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends, optional blocking and sewing on the decorative buttons.
