Patch it Up
My dear friend Bridget who brought me fully into knitting has the most amazing jacket, entirely cov- ered in patches. I’ve always wanted to use all these patches that I’ve collected but a jacket or a bag seemed like too much for my style, so I made my own compromise. Patch it Up provides a blank linear canvas for all those patches you love, choose a neutral for a classic throwback hat or a bright contrast to make that patch pop!
Cumbria Worsted from the Fibre Co. offers a perfect balance of warmth and lightness because of the mohair content! Most worsted weight yarns will work well but I would suggest a tightly spun worsted construction yarn to provide support and structure for the patch.
