Worked in a wide ribbon yarn. There are several like this on the market.
Fast, on a big needle, with no fancy shaping. It should cover bra straps and belly. The stitch shows off the unique properties of a wide ribbon yarn. You can wear it layered over a tee, or another cami. It’s not too see through, so it’s just fine on it’s own.
This is a close fitting tank top choose a size where the finished bust measurement is the same or slightly smaller than actual body measurement.

Approx 297 (325, 357, 397, 430, 470, 507) m / 325 (355, 390, 435, 470, 515, 555) yd of 0.8cm/ 3/8” wide ribbon yarn, that knits to bulky tension, yarn category: bulky weight. Shown in “PARTY RIBBON” by DYE-VERSION, but also suitable for any ribbon yarn of choice, provided the tension is correct
Needles and notions
A pair of needles 6 mm / US 10, OR size required to achieve correct tension over garter stitch; A pair of needles 10 mm / US 15, OR size required to achieve correct tension over Star Stitch pattern; Yarn needle; Elastic thread (optional).
TENSION GAUGE
14 stitches and 11 rows = 10 cm / 4” over Star Stitch pattern with larger needles
14 stitches and 22 rows = 10 cm / 4” over garter stitch with smaller needles.
