I love holding mohair and fingering weight yarn together! The fabric has a beautiful halo and is light, luxurious but also very warm. This is perfect for the cold winter in Canada where I live.

Knit in a classic ribbed pattern, this hat is gender neutral and is so great in all types of yarns. Speckles, stripes, solids and of course, scrappy! It is also completely reversible.

I am always looking for a great pattern to whip up for gifts and also to use up stash yarns, and this one is perfect for that.

Highlights of Parkview Hat:

  • You will hold one strand of sock yarn and one strand of lace weight mohair throughout. which gives you about a DK weight gauge
  • 3 sizes
  • this hat has a slight slouch fit, but tips are given to knit a snug beanie.
  • It looks so cute in a self striping yarn and is a wonderful stash buster
  • whips up very quickly and makes a great gender neutral gift
  • The ribbed fabric is totally reversible. Weave in your ends carefully and you can wear this hat with either side showing out.
  • this pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit by amazing, generous knitters. Thank you all! xo

I couldn’t stop knitting this one and have 3 different versions here:

All of these yarns made beautiful hats and I recommend them all!
