Parasaurolophus
by Tina Barrett
Parasaurolophus were duck-billed dinosaurs with pebbly-textured skin, toothless horny beaks and pointed tails. Their extremely long, hollow crests were used to produce low, foghorn-like sounds in courtship displays. Their sight and hearing were keen, but they had no natural defenses.
