Papa and Pierre Penguin
Papa Penguin is happy to be left holding the baby while Mama Penguin goes off for a few weeks to feed on fish and build her strength back up after creating such a fine large egg. Mama knows that Papa will do a great job of looking after their precious baby until she gets back. Papa has even used the egg to make his precious son a snug buggy to keep his feet from getting cold on the ice.
Papa measures approx. 9” (23cm) tall and 6” (3cm) long
Pattern includes detailed instructions and clear photographs to help you create this cute pair of penguins.
Uses light worsted weight (DK/8 ply) yarn and a size D (3.25mm) Hook, but other yarn weights and hook sizes can be substituted.
Suggested safety eye size - 12mm (Papa), 6mm (Pierre)
This pattern is written in American crochet terminology and includes a handy stitch conversion chart so you can translate to British crochet terms instead should you wish to.
