Pansies, Pansies, Pansies Doily
This is not the same as the Pansies Pansies Pansies doily from Star Book No. 228.
Size: In Puritan (size 10) thread, approximately 12 inches (30.5 cm) in diameter. In Puritan Star Spangled (size 10, metallic twist), approximately 13 inches (33 cm).
Materials:
The pattern recommends vintage size 10 crochet cotton, 1 ball each White, Shaded Yellows, Shaded Purples, and Forest Green, or “Puritan Star Spangled” crochet cotton, 1 ball each Silver Spangle, Green Spangle, Yellow Spangle and Purple Spangle.
Pattern on the Vintage crochet site recommends:
Puritan Mercerized Crochet Cotton
1 – 250 yd. ball White
1 – 175 yd. ball each Shaded Yellows, Shaded Purples and Forest Green
Size 7 steel hook. Published ca. 1950.
Note: This pattern is called “Pansy Doily” in Star Book #208.
