In ancient mythology, Pandora was the first woman, created by Zeus and given as a bride to Epimetheus along with a box they were instructed to never open. Curiosity got the better of Pandora and she opened the box, unleashing all the evils of the world. Fortunately, the very last thing to come out of the box was something good - hope.

I hope that you enjoy the gansey panel of diamonds (diagonal boxes!) and the box texture of this simple pattern. For even more texture, this sock uses an EOP (eye of partridge) heel and gives the option to repeat the gansey section before the toe.

Note that the pattern works up on the large side - more like a straight stockinette sock, so the stitch count for each sock is smaller than my typical pattern sizing.
