Can you have too many pompoms? The pompoms in this project are quite modest; don’t be tempted to make them too big as they might overbalance the hat. If you don’t want pompom ears, you can work the ears from the Brown Bear.

Yarn:
1 ball of black
1 ball of white
Small amount of worsted-weight yarn in cream.
Short lengths of tapestry wool or scraps of yarn; smooth black yarn; white.
