Notes
Vest is knitted in two parts from bottom up, worked back and forth, starting by a 1x1 twisted rib following by a stockinette stitch plus ribbed edges body. Decreases are made at the upper front to shape the neckline and short rows are worked at the upper back to raise it. The shoulders are joined by an exposed Three-Needle Bind Off in contrast color, this join let open sides that then are tied with ribbons. Four ribbons are knitted separately back and forth in garter stitch and I-cord edges, with increases and decreases to shape a dramatic form, and then sewn to the inside of the garment.

Note
ベストは前後身頃を別々にボトムアップで往復編みで編む. 1目ねじりゴム編みで編み始め, 身頃をメリヤス編み, 端をゴム編みで編む. 前身頃上部で減目して襟ぐりを編み, 後ろ身頃上部では引き返し編みを編んで前後差を付ける. 肩は綴じ目を表側に見せるようにして, 配色糸を使って引き抜きはぎではぎ合わせる. 脇は開けたままリボンで結ぶデザイン. リボンは4本を別々に往復編みで編む. 4本ともにガーター編みとI-コードの縁編みで編み, 増目と減目で印象的な形に形作る. 完成したらベストの内側に縫い付ける.
