Painted Glass is one of those shawls that gets you the coveted, “You made THAT?!?!”

But here’s the best part, it’s not hard. Being mosaic, you only knit with one straid at a time. And seriously, the stitches that you’re using are: knit, purl, slip, k2tog, ssk, m1l & m1r.

Yep. That’s really it.

And yes, it takes a little bit more concentration than a garter stitch shawl, but you’ll get into the swing of pattern in no time, because the repeats are easy.

You can use fingering weight, sport weight, or a combination of the two. So stash dive or head on over to Crave and Spincycle to pick up some gorgeous yarn.

Then get ready to stun.

Size
Wingspan: 68”/173 cm
Depth: 21”/53 cm (+2”/5 cm for diamond tips)

The shawl can be easily customized to your preferred wingspan & depth by changing the number of repeats. Changes will effect amount of yarn needed.
