This vest uses two strands of yarn in different combinations to create a gradation, and the sides are simply straight. The mosaic pattern on the chest is not knitted but slid, so the actual knitting is striped. The silk yarn comes in a wide variety of colors and has beautiful coloring, so you can combine the two strands to your liking.
