Oxford Floor Pouf
Indulge in a lush and lavish floor pouf made in soft, luxurious
velvet yarn. This densely stuffed pouf features lots of nubby
texture and reverse single crochet “piping” at the edges for a
classic look.
Keep your pouf by the couch or your favorite chair to use as a
footrest. These cushions also make a comfy seat when you’re
watching movies from the floor. Better yet, make a collection
in coordinating colors and pile them into the corner for a cozy
reading nook.
The pouf is constructed with a top, a bottom and a side piece, then seamed together to create a sturdy fabric.

NOTES
• Achieving and maintaining tension while working with velvet yarn can be tricky. Go slowly and count your stitches periodically.
• The finished Top pieces will look too small compared with the foam insert. Don’t worry— velvet has great stretch. The finished piece will be taut and smooth over the insert.
