The Connecticut River, the largest river in New England, has played a huge role in shaping our cities here in the Pioneer Valley. Its majestic wanderings through the old hills have fueled countless industries and inspired many great American artists. Near our store, it forms a strange but graceful loop referred to as an oxbow and was even the subject of a gorgeous Thomas Cole painting. The odd geography of the river so close by inspired the unusual cables in the Oxbow Hat and Scarf, which sync and alternate as they flow across the garments.
