Outfit for a Princess (Coat)
This pattern is
available for free.
The charming little coat and bonnet illustrated are those which were accepted by her Royal Highness the Duchess of York for the Princess Elizabeth. The originals were made of Angora wool, but if this is not procurable they would look very attractive made of ordinary fingering or soft white wool.
MATERIALS: required are 20 balls of Furida or French Angora wool, a pair of knitting needles No. 11, 1½yds. 1in. white satin-faced ribbon; one 22-line pearl button; 1 press stud.
