Our Rainbows is a crescent shawlette inspired by wispy clouds in a cheerful rainbow. The yarn colours represent three kinds of vision: human, cat, and dog. The classic rainbow shows the colours we humans see and the Dog and Cat colourways showcase the different spectrums of canine and feline vision. The shawl itself is worked in an easy-to-memorize pattern of yarn-overs for increases with narrow textured stripes in contrast colours. It’s worked from the centre out with a garter stitch border. Wear it tied around your neck like a little kerchief or as a gentle shoulder wrap.

It was designed in collaboration with Gauge Dye Works for the August 2026 Summer Club!

Signups for the kits and KAL open Wednesday, June 10, 2026. Pattern and yarn will be exclusive to the kits for a year and will be available individually in 2027.
