Fingering-weight yarn of cashmere and extra fine merino combined with a delicate lace stitch produces this heirloom baby bonnet. The body of the bonnet is knitted in one shaped piece with two small seams, and ribbing is picked up and knit along the bottom edge.

Measurements: To fit a newborn infant

Yarn: Jaeger Cashmina, 80% cashmere/20% extra fine merino, 0.9 oz (25 g)/137 yds (125 m), 043 Sky

Needles: US 3 (3.25 mm) and US 2 (3 mm) straight needles or size you need to obtain correct gauge
