This?
This very special shawl was in ownership by Mary Whitlock and presented by her to the Fine Shetland Lace group on Facebook.

February 18th, 2022: Mary Whitlock posted several pictures of the shawl she had in possession.
It was a very beautiful, fine knit square with an amazing set of patterns. Some we had never seen before!
The group asked if I was able to recreate it and make a pattern. With permission from Mary, I was able to do so.
Debbie Chisholm / debbieknits5000 made the square version, like the original shawl.

To make sure more people can enjoy this design, I also made the rectangle version available. That was knitted by Monique Dreef woolly-oolly and by Grant Mahy.
That is available as a separate pattern.

This pattern has 28 pages. Lots of photo’s, history, quotes from Mary, quotes from Roslyn Chapman’s Shetland Lace thesis (2015) (with permission) and several pages with technical support and charts.
You do need to attach 3 charts together to complete the bottom of the border and 2 charts for the top of the border.
A repeat is 81 stitches, so there was no shortcut.

ALSO.. helpdesk is open when you have any questions.
