Woman’s Weekly published this knitting pattern for a timeless cardigan in their 28 August 1965 issue. Traditional Aran stitches are shown to advantage by the simple shape and unexaggerated collar.
The original instructions say; Choose a gentle shade - natural, water lily green, butterscotch - and let the stitch speak for itself. Work at a tension that the 66-stitch pattern measures 8¼ inches in width to obtain the measurements given below.
