Oribus Fingerless Mitts
Oribus is the Latin word for trellis and these fingerless mitts have a criss-crossing trellis pattern worked in slipped stitches and simple cables with only one colour used per round.
Yarn: Sample pair uses Wattlebird Yarn 4ply/fingering weight sock yarn (approx. 400m/437 yds per 100g) in Minerva (MC) and Mahogany (CC).
In the sample pair the main colour is the light yarn and the CC is dark. The sample pair is size S and used approx. 25g MC and 16g CC. A tester who made size M used 36.5g MC and 24g CC. For size L allow approx. 50g MC and 35g CC.
