Oregon sky
This top was inspired by the colors and soft texture of the Oregon sky covered with soft gray clouds most of the year. A mix of beautiful and high quality yarns makes this project a pleasure to knit and wear.
The structure of this top was inspired by one of Chanel runway shows. This garment is worked from the bottom up in the round, then work is divided fro front and back and work is done flat. The bottom is formed as a hem, which gives a good foundation for a garment. One purl row defines the hem. Then there is a faux seam going along the center back and front. The top part has an accent of differently textured rows.
The pattern is written for two options, with and without a collar.
