Everything on our farm begins and ends in the soil beneath
our feet and the orchard grass that stretches across our
pastures—it feeds our Icelandic sheep that so elegantly grow
and provide us with fiber and sustenance.
The yarn I used for this design came from a company near and dear to my heart — Moeke Yarns. This is also the first piece of the Farm Basics Collection.
Farm Basics is inspired by the beautiful rustic yarns and story of Moeke, and our life here on the farm. Whether you’re wrangling sheep in the morning mist or hauling hay, layers are basic and essential. Each piece of the Farm Basics Collection was created from the need for something that can withstand the rigors of rural life, yet compliment any wardrobe.
