A lovely, simple and striking pattern which can be knitted up in less than two hours. It uses two different stitches - a chevron stitch (knit and purl) and garter stitch (knit every row). There is one row of making holes for the drawstring neck. It is knitted in two pieces, which are sewn together with a choice of back stitch or mattress stitch.

This design has been featured in The Independent, Period Homes and Interiors and Your Home magazine and is a firm favourite. The pattern uses 60gs of baby alpaca yarn and 4mm needles. You will also need an 85cm length of velvet ribbon for the tie.
