Oneiroi
I’ve been searching for a shawl for myself for a very long time. Being a boy you can imagine that it hasn’t been easy. I was talking about this conundrum with my wife one day and she suggested that I do an asymmetrical shawl that mixed brioche with a textured stitch. ‘But how would I deal with the problem that brioche only increases one row for every two worked?’ I asked. Then it hit me, if I mix used garter stitch I could take advantage of its natural property to squish together. I tried it out and voila! This shawl was born. It’s a mixture of 1-color brioche and garter stitch, and if you look at it really closely you can see that there are 2 rows of garter stitch for every 1 row of brioche. Very cool!
