As handspinners, we often wind up with small amounts of yarn - those short skeins of beginner yarns, workshop or fibre samples, and the leftovers from other projects can all accumulate in our yarn basket. My solution to that accumulation was to come up with a simple, flexible project recipe that gave me a way to show off these yarns. I refer to these easy wrist warmers as rule of thumb because the number of increases for the thumb gusset is the only real “rule” in the whole thing.
