One By One Sweater
An intriguingly simple yoke construction sets up this top-down sweater!
No seams or kitchener - just some picking up to do.
The ribbing offers a close fit, and the subtle increase/decrease detail on the front is flattering and makes a clean v-neckline.
The hems have a faux seam detail that is super easy to do!
To knit this sweater, you will need to know how to increase, decrease, work back and forth and in the round, knit and purl, and cast off. if you don’t know how to do a tubular cast off, find a you-tube and learn! it is the ideal cast off to use for this sweater!
Because this sweater is top-down, it is easy to knit the sleeves and body to the exact length you want.
Note that the larger needle size is the one that needs to have the correct gauge, and the second needle should be 2 sizes smaller than the needle that gets you the correct gauge.
Sizes are: 28 (32, 36, 40, 44, 48) inches around the bust, and you will need 9 (10, 11, 12, 13, 15) balls of Swish DK.
