In spring when it’s still too cool to have a swim, I still love to take my shoes off and dip my feet in the chilly water. It’s really refreshing, it almost makes you feel renewed. I always stop to admire those fascinating lines the sand creates underwater. The ripple, ondeggio in Italiano.
These yarns were in my left-over basket when I had finished a sock marathon, and I was nearly sick of knitting socks. The balls, one next to each other, whispering to be knit into something special. I saw the sea, and I heard the waves.

These fingering weight socks are knit cuff down with a heel flap, and they have an Eye of the partridge heel flap. Folded cuff, heel and toe are worked using a contrasting color.
A delicate sea-inspired lace pattern decorates the front leg and instep. The instructions are written for the Magic Loop method.
