This shawl was initially designed for the 2018 Miss Babs Knitting Tour, and was exclusive to the tour until June 2019.

There is nothing like the glamour and style of 5th Avenue, especially during the holiday season.

As you meander toward Central Park, you are treated to magnificent architecture, adorned with garlands and glowing lights. You’ll feel excitement in the air as you marvel at the holiday scenes in Saks’ shop windows, watch (or, better yet, join!) the laughing ice skaters at Rockefeller Center, or admire the sparkling wonders at Tiffany’s.

I hope that On 5th captures a bit of this magic. This sophisticated wrap features curving ribbons of lace that remind me of festive garlands. The center of the wrap is especially eye-catching, with mirrored points of lace meeting tip to tip.

And the yarn, a luxurious merino/silk lace-weight, creates a warm, flowing fabric with lovely drape. Cozy up in it, or wind it around your neck as a stylish scarf ~ either way, you are ready for a stroll on 5th.
