Pattern available in English and Italian.

“Oltremare” is a cozy sweater knit top-down in the round, in one piece and with no seaming.
Start by casting-on the stitches for the neckline and work a twisted rib border.
The yoke is worked in three phases.
During the first phase, the first series of short rows is worked to raise the back neck.
During the second phase, the other colours are added and the yoke is knit using the stranded colourwork technique; increases are inserted to shape the garment.
During the third phase, short rows are used to shape the shoulders and the back of the garment.
When the yoke is completed, the stitches for the sleeves are divided from the body and the three pieces are completed separately.
The sleeves are long; all of the borders on the body and sleeves are also knit in twisted rib stitch.

XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) to fit bust size 76 (86, 96, 106, 117, 127) cm – 30 (34, 38, 42, 46, 50) in.
Shown in size M with bust size 96 cm – 38 ½ in and with 19 cm – 7 ½ in of positive ease.

LE WOLLE Nocciole (Fingering yarn; 75% Wool and 25 % Angora: 180 m – 197 yds / 50 g – 1.76 oz. ball).
Colour 1 (C1): 3540 (brina); 1 (1, 1, 1, 2, 2) balls (120 140, 160, 170, 190, 210 m – 132 154, 175, 186, 208, 230 yds);

Circular needles:
3 mm – US 2 ½ with a 40 cm – 16 in, 60 cm – 24 in and 80 cm – 32 in cable. If necessary, please adjust needle size to obtain the specified gauge.

Tapestry needle and scissors.
1 stitch marker.
Waste yarn.
Pins and a tape measure for blocking.

Gauge:
23 sts and 32 rows/rounds = 10 cm – 4 in in st st (after blocking).

“Oltremare” è un maglione oversized, lavorato dall’alto verso il basso in un unico pezzo senza cuciture.
Si incomincia con il primo colore, montando le maglie per il collo e lavorando un bordo a coste ritorte.
La lavorazione dello sprone si divide in tre fasi.
Innanzitutto si lavora la prima serie di ferri accorciati per alzare il dietro e le spalle, poi si incomincia a lavorare anche con gli altri colori e con la tecnica Bohus (a fili passati), inserendo anche gli aumenti per modellare lo sprone, infine si prosegue con dei ferri accorciati per modellare le maniche e il dietro.
Dopo la separazione delle maniche dal corpo, i tre pezzi sono completati separatamente.
Le maniche sono lunghe; i bordi del corpo e delle maniche sono lavorati a coste ritorte come il collo.

Taglie:
XS (S, M, L, XL, XXL) vestono un giroseno di 76 (86, 96, 106, 117, 127) cm.
Le foto si riferiscono alla taglia M indossata da una modella con un giroseno di 96 cm con un agio di 19 cm.
