Olives Ribbed Leggings
As a wardrobe staple, these simple and practical leggings are a must in your child’s wardrobe. Olive’s Ribbed Leggings are worked from the top down in the round using either 1 strand of Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk, and in a stretchy 4x2 rib pattern that will give a good fit. The folded waistband is worked first, followed by short row shaping of the backside of the leggings before each leg is finished separately. The leggings are finished off by making the i-cord drawstring and inserting it into the drawstring channel in the waistband.
If leggings without ties are preferred, the i-cord drawstring can be replaced with a 1 cm wide elastic.
