Welcome to Interpretations, Volume 10! We are grateful and proud to present the 10th collaboration between Joji Locatelli and Veera Välimäki. We hope that you will find joy in knitting these patterns as much as we did in creating them.

I love that early morning hour when the streets are slowly waking up and bright rays of sunshine sprinkle gold on all the walls around me. I watch as someone empties the trash and another hurries by, walking with such determination that I imagine they must be late for work. I take in this new dawn, a new day, full of possibilities.
The Old Mill Sweater is an ode to mirroring cables, worked in
quite a fine gauge that makes this sweater a true dream to
wear. Cabled sweaters can often feel heavy with all the twists,
but not in fingering weight yarn, they are truly a delight.
This sweater is worked from the top down in one piece. First
you work the back and then pick up stitches for each shoulder
before joining for the front. The folding collar is worked last.
Our special gratitude and thank you to Maria Gomes, who
helped us with these pictures.
