Old Man's Beard Mitts
Part of the Old Man’s Beard set from The Accessories Project: Book One.
As strange as it sounds, lichen were the reason we moved to our house. Throughout the woods and orchards our trees are dripping with the pale grey fuzz of lichen, or old man’s beard. Its a sign of good air quality and makes me think of living in a fairy tale forest. The combination of shell stitches and fuzzy mohair remind me of the fuzzy growths.
