Okinami
I’ve always loved “The Great Wave’ by Hokusai, and although i didn’t set out to design socks inspired by his work, the combination of the pattern and the colour took my mind straight to it.
The easy to memorise lace pattern creates a wave shape within the sock, also pulling the top edge into gentle undulations.
The pattern is written for a two different widths (9’’ and 10’’ circumference at ball of foot) and is knitted to your desired length.
