The only skirt you’ll ever need.

Construction
Worked from the top down. The double waistband is worked first. The skirt is then worked using a technique where you create yarn overs that are dropped on the following round. You increase over a total of 3 rounds distributed along the length. Finally, the lower edge is worked, folded double and sewn to the inside.

Size Guide
The most important thing is that the skirt sits at the waist. An exact fit or negative ease of up to 16 cm | 6.3” is recommended, as the stockinette at the waist can stretch somewhat. The recommended negative ease increases with size. This also depends on your hip measurements. Positive ease at the waist is not recommended, as the fabric will pucker when you pull the knit over.

Yarn
A soft and light yarn that can be knitted both dense and airy is used as the main yarn (silk mohair). This is held double throughout, but you switch colors gradually to create the ombre effect. The sequin yarn features large sequins and a solid thread that creates a beautiful interplay of color against the main color.
