Offing

Offing is a simplified version of my signature spiked design. This rectangular scarf uses easy-to-follow stitches, with the spike motif formed through a repeating sequence of increases and decreases.

The pattern is delivered as a 4-page PDF and includes a video tutorial, a detailed chart, and clear written instructions

Knit on RS, purl on WS

Yarn over

Slip 1 knitwise, knit 2 together, pass slip stitch over K2tog, double left-leaning decrease

Slip 3 stitches knitwise, return these 3 stitches to left needle and purl these 3 stitches together through back loops; double left-leaning decrease

Knit 2together on RS, purl 2together on WS
