CONSTRUCTION: A drop saddle shoulder worked from the top down. Saddles are knit first, with the back then picked up and worked to the armholes. Fronts are picked up separately, with the neckline shaped before joining. Back and front are joined at the underarms and worked in the round to the hem. Sleeves and collar are picked up and worked in the round to finish; sleeves are gently tapered with a final decrease worked before the cuff for a slight puff.
SIZES: 1-10. 36 (40 1/4, 44 1/2, 47 3/4, 52) {56 1/4, 60, 63 3/4, 68, 71 3/4}”/91.5 (102, 113, 122, 132) {143, 152.5, 162.5, 172.5, 183} cm finished bust circumference, to be worn with 6”/15 cm or more positive ease.
Sample shown is size 3 worn with ~7”/18 cm ease. Please review all finished measurements in the schematic.

YARN: de Rerum Natura Ulysse, 100% Merino wool, 202 yd /1.8 oz (185 m/50 g): 6 (7, 8, 9, 11) {11, 12, 14, 15, 16} balls in Erable. Or approx. 1175 (1375, 1575, 1775, 2025) {2225, 2450, 2700, 2950, 3200} yd/1075 (1260, 1440, 1625, 1850) {2035, 2240, 7069, 2700, 2925} m sport or heavy fingering weight yarn.
GAUGE: 26 sts and 30 rows = 4”/10 cm in cable pattern, worked flat and in the round
24 sts and 28 rnds = 4”/10 cm in stockinette stitch worked in the round
NEEDLES
US 5 (3.75 mm) 32-40”/80-100 cm circular needle, or size to obtain gauge, and US 4 (3.5 mm) 32-40”/80-100 cm circular needle, or 1 size below gauge needle
