This pattern is available for free on my linked blog. Here you are paying to purchase an ad-free, printable version of this pattern.
This is Oliver the Octopus! He’s a cute little octopus amigurumi that is quite quick and fun to make! This little amigurumi is another one of my ocean themed amigurumi projects. The collection includes a sea turtle, jellyfish, whale, and now an octopus! Oliver measures about 4-5 inches tall when finished, depending on how he is sitting (legs curved or straight).
This pdf pattern includes step-by-step instructions with lots of photos, which makes it easy to follow and also beginner friendly, but still fun for more experienced crocheter. I hope you enjoy making this little octopus as much as I did!
Materials:
• Worsted weight yarn – You can use any worsted-weight yarn for this project. I used Caron Simply Soft yarn.
• 3.5 mm (G) crochet hook.
• Poly-Fil/Stuffing
• 9mm safety eyes
• Embroidery thread for sewing on facial features.
• Yarn needle for sewing pieces together and weaving in ends.
If you love ocean themed amigurumi projects, please check out the whole collection in the Ocean Friends Amigurumi listing! You can get all of the ocean amigurumi patterns, including this one, together in one eBook with a clickable table of contents for easy navigation.
