October Skies Afghan (so named because I’m inspired by the beautiful skies this October morning!) is a bias, crocheted afghan, designed to be a stash buster. You can make any square or rectangle item with this pattern - take a look at what my testers achieved using my pattern, from dishcloths, scarves, to full sized afghans. You are definitely not limited to using scraps OR using the directions to make an afghan!

This design, at its simplest - using one color - can be made by an advanced beginner crochet easily, but if you are using scraps, some experience might be helpful with weaving in the ends.

I strongly recommend making magic balls, using weaver’s knots, for this project! (yes, I know - knots in a project! eep! But weaver’s knots are amazingly strong, and virtually disappear into a project such as this)

Thank you to my testers, debspugs, watcherlks, laurie2011, LadyMoth, and marjos!
