Ocean Waves Socks
There is something calming about watching waves roll in, one after another, never rushed and never quite the same. That steady rhythm inspired the Ocean Waves Socks.
This toe up crochet sock pattern combines an easy-to-wear textured foot with a simple wave pattern around the leg. The stitch pattern creates gentle peaks and valleys that remind me of water shifting along the shoreline.
Ocean Waves Socks are designed to help you build confidence with crochet socks while still making something beautiful enough to wear again and again. Working from the toe up allows you to check the fit as you go, which makes the process feel more manageable.
The textured foot creates a comfortable fabric, while the patterned leg keeps the project interesting without feeling overwhelming. Worked in fingering weight yarn, these socks have a lightweight feel that fits comfortably inside shoes while still keeping your feet warm.
Whether this is your very first pair of crocheted socks or another pair for your handmade sock drawer, Ocean Waves Socks are meant to help you settle into the rhythm of sock making one round at a time.
