NYC taxi cab
Whether you miss the chaos of New York City traffic, or just want a fun toy for your little one, this taxi is an adorable project! Alternately working the front and back loops gives this vehicle it’s awesome rectangular shape, while colorwork around the body gives this car the characteristic ‘NYC checkerboard’ flair. This taxi measures 7 inches long by 3 inches tall when completed.
To complete this pattern, you will need:
- size H (5 mm) crochet hook
- 4 colors of worsted weight yarn (less than a skein of each): yellow, black, white and grey
- polyester stuffing
- tapestry needle
This is an ‘intermediate’ pattern, meaning that there are color changes and shaping.
